One of Ghana’s leading music groups, Nkyinkyim Band, on the 13th of February 2023 embarked on a philanthropic project dubbed “Show your love”
“Show your love” project was birthed in 2020 in a music concert as a way of showing love to friends and family.
As a way of expressing their love, the Ghanaian popular band paid a visit to Nyame Dua Children’s Home in Botwe Nana Krom. This home has been in existence since 2005 and houses about 70 children.
Nkyinkyim Band with the support of friends donated items like toiletries, food items, bags of water, learning materials, Sanitary pads, clothes and an amount of cash to the children’s home.
Receiving the items on behalf of the institution, Mr. Moses Ayariga who is in charge expressed his gratitude for this initiative by the band and hoped this gesture would be the beginning of more good things to come.
The members of the band also interacted with the children, shared some experiences and words of encouragement with them, especially those who are interested in the arts.
Nkyinkyim expresses their warmest gratitude to all who supported immensely to make this project a successful.
