One of Ghana’s leading music groups, Nkyinkyim Band is set to embark on an outreach program this February as part of its “Show your love” projects.
“Show your love” project was birthed in 2020 in a music concert as a way of showing love to friends and family. The concert featured various artists like Kwame Brenya, Adaha Dance Band and Blaqad.
On the 13th of February, 2023, Nkyinkyim Band will be showing love to Nyame Dua Orphanage Home in Botwe Nana Krom. The group will be making a donation to the orphanage as a way of giving back to society in the month of love. Mr. Johnson Amezuke, the leader of the group, in his attempt to encourage support for this pending project, stated, “There are several ways we can express genuine love. We wanted to do something different in the month of love and there was no better way than to reach out to the less privileged and put smiles on their faces. This donation will be both cash and kind. We are therefore entreating all our friends and family to join us make this project a successful one”.
Items to be donated include cash, foodstuff, clothes as well as a music performance.
