Ghana’s celebrated Nkyinkyim Band marked a decade of musical brilliance with a grand celebration on August 27, 2024, at James Town Café. Renowned as one of Africa’s top music bands, Nkyinkyim blends Highlife, Afro Beats, Hiplife, Reggae, Funk, and Palmwine into a unique fusion, following in the footsteps of legendary bands like Osibisa and African Brothers International Band.
The event was a testament to the band’s dedication and influence in the live music scene, featuring a mix of performances and reflections on their journey. Among the distinguished guests were Bessa Simons, Samuel Owusu, Naa Agyeman, Mr. Samuel Attah-Mensah, Mr. Appiah Yawson, and Dr. Eric Sunu.
