Nkyinkyim Band recently paid a courtesy call on the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Mr. Bessa Simons, at the Union’s head office. The meeting was aimed at discussing proposed projects the band wishes to undertake, as well as sharing ideas on how the conditions and opportunities for music bands in Ghana can be improved.
During the interaction, Mr. Bessa Simons, together with the National Organiser, Chizzy Wailer, and veteran industry personality, Mr. Bosco Ocansey (Dada Bosco), warmly received the band. The MUSIGA President also briefed the group on recent initiatives by the Union and outlined plans for the upcoming 50th anniversary celebrations of MUSIGA.
The engagement ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing commitment to future collaborations that will contribute to the growth of the Ghanaian music industry.
