Ghana’s Nkyinkyim Band on the 30th of August 2022 hosted a section of students from the New York University led by Ethnomusicologist Dr. Eric Sunu Doe. This visit comes on the back of a successful album release by the versatile band. As part of their course, the students got to interact with the band on all levels whiles being entertained with exclusive performances of a selection of songs from Nkyinkyim’s maiden album “Where we dey?” as well as song covers of their choice. This is the second batch of students that Nkyinkyim Band has hosted. Nkyinkyim is a young vibrant band that has been in existence for about 8 years and are currently one of the finest music bands in Ghana and Africa
